The proccess in 7 steps 1. 3D SCANNING
The scanner forms a point cloud from a top view position
The proccess in 7 steps 2. ITEM SELECTION
The software compares the CAD model and the point cloud Analyzes all the parts in the crate.
The proccess in 7 steps 3. INTERPRETATION OF 3D ENVIRONMENT
Selects the most visible element and determines the coordinates of its grip point for the X-Y-Z axis.
The proccess in 7 steps 4. Collision detection
It assesses the relative position of the elements; once it finds no more safely removable ones, it starts rearranging them.
The proccess in 7 steps 5. REARRANGING
Once the software cannot find a safely removable item, the robot is instructed to rearrange the items within the crate.
The proccess in 7 steps 6. Removal and placement
After entering the grip points, the robot arm lifts the item out of the box. The robot places the element at the specified coordinate according to the instruction. With this step the removal of a part has been concluded.
The proccess in 7 steps 7. REPEATED CYCLE
The robot automatically continues this 7-step operation until there are no more items in the crate.
